Our lives are full of things we don’t completely understand. We may be able to figure out some aspects of these mysteries, but not all. Let me give you some examples. We cannot fully understand how the human brain works. We cannot fully understand how electricity or light really works. On a spiritual level, we may not fully understand the concept of the Trinity or even the Kingdom of God. That doesn’t mean we should not wrestle with these mysteries.
In this passage, Jesus offers insights into God’s truth as His light to the world and into the mysterious growth of God’s kingdom.
