I think we can all agree that a consistent and meaningful prayer life takes discipline. I know that sometimes, our minds can drift or we can even drift off to sleep.
It is also very unfortunate that many churches no longer have meaningful corporate prayer meetings. I would suggest that the American church is anemic due to its general lack of prayer.
Consequently, the church continues to fall short of carrying out the Great Commission effectively because we are not praying with purpose. Paul addressed this issue with the Thessalonian church. Let’s see how this applies to us today.
