“Live Life Well!” 2 Thess. 1:11-12
We can all agree that life presents challenges to us. For instance, we face moral and ethical decisions every day. For Christ followers, choosing to do the right thing according to Scripture may often result in pushback from family or peers, ridicule, or even persecution. If we are not careful or not walking with God as we ought to, we can become tired and weary of doing the right thing in God’s eyes. We need to be on our guard because Satan will try to use our discouragement to sideline us from glorifying God.
Paul knew this and sensed that, since the Thessalonians were going through trials and persecutions, a word of encouragement was necessary to help them persevere in faith alone in God. Let’s examine Paul’s prayer and be encouraged as we choose to follow Christ.
