It is essential to understand that the tactics of the Devil have not changed since the encounter with Eve in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3. The Devil is crafty, but he always uses the same basic method to discourage, tempt, and deceive a Christ follower and render the believer ineffective for God.
Isaiah 36 is the record of the encounter of Sennacherib, King of Assyria, and King Hezekiah of Judah. In this chapter, we will see that Sennacherib employs the same tactics the Devil still uses to this day.
