“Which City Would You Pick?” Isaiah 24-27

We would agree that things in this world are getting more chaotic.  There are many more violent and bizarre crimes happening more frequently. There seem to be more reports of road rage, drug trafficking, overdoses, armed robberies, carjackings, and much more. It is essential to note that these crimes are not confined to cities but have also impacted suburbs.

One can argue that these chaotic things are a result of a choice that everyone must make during the course of their life here on earth. Will we choose to do life with God or without God? That choice will determine which city we will live in. Will we live in the City of God by faith in the Person and work of Christ? Or, will we choose to live in this chaotic world without God and without hope?

The prophet Isaiah warned the people of his time about the consequences of making unwise choices. There are lessons you and I can learn from Isaiah that apply to our situation today.
